Rain Rain Go Away

This weekend it was raining really bad and noah wanted it to stop...here was his solution... he must have done it at school or something cause i have never done this with him before...

This weekend

So, Lindsey Jen and Brian Came down this weekend to surprise my dad for fathers day. It was a lot of fun. I will post pictures of that as soon as i get them from Lindsey. Unfortunately on SundayNoah and I got really sick. I think we had food poisioning or a virus or something, it was really bad. Poor Tim only got half of a fathers day. We let him sleep in until 9 (even though Noah started getting sick at 7:30) then i brought him breakfast in bed and gave him his presents. After that is when i started getting sick. We didnt get to go out to eat with my family, we just slept and laid up in bed all day long. Tim is going to get a make up Fathers Day next weekend. I will get pictures then. In the mean time here are a couple of recent pics.

Zoey has started to say "uh-oh" when she drops stuff. It is really cute. Her first sound was "da da da da da" and we thought that her first word was "mama" because she would cry it when i left the room. but she doesn't say it really consistently so it could have been that she just said it when i left by chance. We will say it is her first word though. Now with the "uh-oh" she says it a lot and very consistently when she drops something. She has also started to cruise more so we think she will be walking very shortly.

Noah is really enjoying the summer program at his school. They are learning about Australia. He can identify the continent and tells us different stuff about it when he comes home from school. The other day he told me that they were going "down under." such a silly kid. One of Noah's new things is...he has started lying. Not cool...i am not sure really how to punish him for it because i really want him to learn what it is and why it is important to tell the truth. so right now he gets immediate time out and then we talk about what lying is and why you should tell the truth.
