Ginger bread house

Not much to say about this one. Grandmother gave us a ginger bread house decorating kit around thanksgiving. We finally were able to do it about 10 days before Christmas. Noah really did it all. I just did the icing and he did the rest. He was nice enough when he was done to let Zoey "help" she really just kept pulling the candy off. Noah had a lot of fun decorating.

Zoey's 15-18 month check up...i know i am late

So way back on December 16th i took Zoey for her 15-18th month check up. She was about 16 1/2 months old. She passed all of the developmental milestones, walking--starting to run. Sleeping all night long, she eats well, She has about 15 words, let me see if i can remember them all.
Dada, Mama, uhoh, Noah, Night night, bye, yaya (that is what we call our pacifier), uh uh (no), uh huh (yes), ball, ewww, baby, muny (bunny), and the newest one MINE.
She has a million other words, we just cant understand them. She talks all the time.

I cant remember anything else...cause the appointment was oh, about a month ago. I do have a sticker that they gave us with her measurements so i know those. She was 31 1/2 inches tall (65th percentile), 25 pounds 6 ounces (76th percentile), and her head measured 47.3 cm (78th percentile). What can i say, she is a big girl. Anyways, my poor Zoey had to get 4 shots. She cried a lot, but she survived.

This is Zoey in her hospital gown...before shots.
Zoey was doing fine after her shots, but then she looked in the mirror
and saw the band aids and started crying again.

It Snowed Today--Well Kind Of

Okay so it sleeted/flurried/snowed today. Unfortunately you can only really see it in the first picture. It was so awesome because as we were driving home i noticed the flakes and so at the stop light i opened the sun roof and Noah got so excited about it. He actually asked me, "Where is the Snow Machine?" When we got home Noah ran up and down the driveway trying to "eat" the flakes. Poor Zoey fell flat on her face on the drive way and got a big goose egg on her forehead. That is when we moved it to the backyard where the ground was level. Other than that incident, it was so much fun to see "snow" in Texas!

Fire Station

A couple of weeks ago some family friends Kay and Robert met us at the Champions Fire Department. (Robert is a fireman) Noah has been wanting to go for a long time. It was so nice of them to take time on their Saturday afternoon just for Noah. When we got to the fire station Robert pulled out one of the huge fire trucks so that Noah could climb in and all over it. He had a blast and came away with a new fire hat, fireman pencils, erasers, and stickers. The other little well big boy in the pictures is Chase, Kay's son.

Thanksgiving

I guess i am really bad at this blogging because i haven't kept it up. So i am going to do a whole bunch of blogs at once to update on pictures. This first one is going to be about Noah's Thanksgiving feast at school. Every year the kids at Noah's school participate in making a Thanksgiving meal the Friday night before thanksgiving. They peel carrots, potatoes, shuck the corn, make center pieces and help clean and rearrange their classroom for the feast. This is our second year to go and it was fantastic. The food was so delicious and the kids had a great time. The pictures that i am including are of Noah and his friend Eric (who thinks he is a fireman).

For Thanksgiving day we (Noah Zoey and I) went to my Grandma's house. Tim's family came down, but they have a new tradition of sitting outside of Fry's Electronics all night long to get in some Black Friday deals (not my thing). I prefer Turkey. Anyways, we had a really good time and had really good food. My cousins were there along with their kids. My cousin Monica has a little boy Desi who is about 4 months younger than Zoey and we celebrated his birthday that day as well. Noah pretty much stayed with my cousin Jeff's little girl Lilly. They had a lot of fun. After lunch at my grandma's, the kids and i met my mom at the movies to take them to see a movie. It was Zoey's first movie and she did awesome. It was a fun thanksgiving day!
