We did Hanukkah a little after it was over because Zoey had been sick and she did not seem up to it on our original planned date. We ordered in P F Changs...my favorite and just spent time talking and enjoying company. The kids stayed up as long as they could, of course Zoey fell asleep on the couch. It was really nice to spend time with my dad and Elizabeth outside of work...

Christmas in Round Rock WIth Tims Family

We had a quick drive up to Round rock for Christmas. We had Christmas eve dinner with Jennifer at The Salt Lick...YUM YUM YUM! The next morning we opened our presents with Noah and Zoey. That afternoon Ben, Amber, and Theresa came in and we opened all the other gifts. The kids got so many presents that i cant even name them all. The favorites though are the Transformer that "Santa" brought Noah, and Zoey's Rose Petal Cottage play house is a favorite for both of the kids. Tim got a New Drill and a Huge Craftsmen Tool Chest/box from me and he got me the whole comforter and bed set for our bed!!! Yeah for us, after 3 years in our house we finally have bedding!!! We had delicious Steak that Chuck grilled for us and potatoes, a Lato Christmas family tradition. We also started a tradition last year of doing a "Dirty Santa" "White Elephant" Gift exchange. It is always so much fun, and we cant wait to do it again next year!

Christmas with my Mom

We celebrated Christmas with my mom the Sunday before Christmas because she went to New York. We had a really good lunch and then opened presents. Tim and i got 2 electric toothbrushes and these cast iron skillets to make cookies with ice cream on top. Noah got new pirate sleeping bag and a sticker activity book. Zoey got a baby doll cradle and her first tea set. We got my mom a picture of the kids and her dog in picture frame, and a lap pad for working on her lap top. Here are a few pictures.
